Gabriela Sanchez, Technical Assistance Coordinator Promotes EDTP Quick Start Series en Español on 1440 AM LA Brava!

Gabriela Sanchez, the Technical Assistance Coordinator for LAEDA’s Entrepreneurial Development Training Program (EDTP) appeared on the “Alejandra y Efrain Show” on 1440 AM LA BRAVA on Thursday February 28th to talk about LAEDA’s newest program – EDTP Quick Start Series en Español. Joined by hosts Alejandra Cordon and Efrain Muniz, Ms. Sanchez talked about the challenges being faced by business owners and the importance of business education. “Business education is very important to starting or expanding a business, understanding the basic strategies to planning and growing a business can be the difference between success and failure.” said Ms. Sanchez.

 

She went on to describe the 5 workshops that are part of the series; ABC’s of Starting a Small Business, Creating a Plan of Action – Business Planning I & II, Getting the Word Out – Marketing 101 and Credit Management for Entrepreneurs.  She explained that all the workshops in the series are taught in Spanish with all materials in the Spanish language.

Ms. Sanchez, invited all Latinos who own an existing business or who wish to start one to attend the series, which will be hosted in Bridgeton, NJ at the Ashley McCormick Arts Center at 40 E. Commerce Street.  The series will begin on March 19 and continue on March 26, April 2, April 9 and April 16.  She explained that the series is free but interested individuals must register by calling 856-338-1177.
