LAEDA, CLHI Partner to Support Camden Vendors

Camden, NJ --- LAEDA and Camden Lutheran Housing Incorporated, Inc. (CLHI) partnered to provide a 6-part series business course were micro-entrepreneurs with product-based businesses learn about how to become a professional vendor and online retailer. The class was followed by a business pitch competition, in which winners received a vendor starter kit, fully equipped to prepare them for vending season.

Camden's Small Business Week Celebrated at the Camden Kroc Center

Camden, NJ- On May 4, 2022, LAEDA joined local organizations and small businesses at the Kroc Center in Camden to celebrate National Small Business Week. Jamila Powell, MBA, the Program Manager for the LAEDA Women's Business Center was one of the panelists Wells Fargo hosted to provide information on how to build capacity and elevate small businesses to the next level. The small business leaders in Camden were highlighted as well as the network of local organizations who support them every single day and on each and every step of their journey.

LAEDA Brings Small Business Financing Series to Atlantic City

Atlantic City, NJ— On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, the LAEDA’s Small Business Financing Series wrapped up at the Chelsea Pub & Inn in the Chelsea neighborhood of Atlantic City. LAEDA partnered with Chelsea EDC to provide business training and help administer the Small Business Capital Grant Program, which is designed support the growth and development of businesses in Atlantic City.
