A Moment with our EDTP Graduate- Chante Brown

Chante Brown is the owner and CEO of Instrumental Sterile Processing Institute (ISPI). This business’s mission is to expose then train students to become Certified Registered Central Service Technicians, so they can assist with saving lives one tray at a time also while having the opportunity at competitive pay and growth in the healthcare industry. She is also a graduate of LAEDA’s Entrepreneurial Development Training Program. We had a chance to sit down with Chante Brown to ask about her experience with entrepreneurship and LAEDA's training program.

Alumni Outreach Intern Promotes Women-Owned Businesses for Women’s History Month

Camden, NJ- This semester, the LAEDA Women’s Business Center is proud to announce their first Alumni Outreach Intern, Ashley Davis. As a student at Temple University, Ashley is studying Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Fox School of Business, and has their sights set on becoming a business owner in the future. Through their engagement with our alumni network, Ashley has had the experience to hear from successful female business owners.

Women’s Business Academy Celebrates Fourth Cohort to Complete 9-Week Business Training Course

Academy (WBA). Established in 2016 in conjunction with the Women’s Business Center, this nine-week Camden, NJ- On March 11th, the LAEDA Women’s Business Center (WBC) concluded the fourth cohort of its Women’s Business training program closely emulates the Entrepreneurial Development Training Program (EDTP) by creating a community of small business owners and budding entrepreneurs, each of which are paired with a business counselor to provide technical assistance in the creation of their business plan that serve as a road map to business success.
