This will be the first in a series of seminars on topical issues relevant to women business owners in South Jersey, thanks to the new LAEDA Women's Business Center established earlier this year with support from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Bertha Sarmina, Program Manager - LAEDA Women's Business Center
Bertha Sarmina held various positions and consultancies in the area of microfinance in her native Mexico and the United States. In Philadelphia, she became the Director of Microlending at FINANTA, a Community Development Financial Institution. Currently, as a Program Manager of the LAEDA Women's Business Center, Ms. Sarmina is responsible for establishing program services and activities and providing technical assistance to women entrepreneurs in South Jersey.
